The Story

BEHIND THE PARAPET REBRANDING

This is another one of our favorite types of phone calls. This one started with “Erm … we need you guys to make us a new landing page”. But then the designers happened. The Parapet Suite consists of 4 applications which help franchise owners manage their business from their phone quite literally. From managing your employees and work processes to monitoring, security and passing inspections. But the problem was that the applications had very different looks and styles and their design was quite outdated making them look more like a random bunch of applications rather than a suite. So our design team proposed to re-brand all the applications.

The Challenges

The different applications all have very specific functions for a world we were very unfamiliar with. The franchise owner’s world.
During the web design phase we had to represent some of the best features for each application in a way that instantly communicates their value.
Each of the applications had to be a separate brand on its own while at the same time being a part of the suite..

The Goals

Re-brand the 4 applications and the Parapet Studios brand uniting them under a common vision.
Design and develop the Parapet Studios responsive website representing all of the applications and their features in detail.
Convince franchise owners visiting the website that the suite of applications will help them grow their business and improve their efficiency.

The Branding

The Suite consists of four applications for restaurant owners. Overseer makes sure that employees do not steal from you by implementing security measures to prevent this. Check allows for monitoring various task lists and processes so that you know how employees are doing and reduces the need for communication. Temp makes sure that you pass all your quality inspections and Insight gives you all the information and reports you need to know how your business is doing right on your mobile.

The Website

The final result of the project is the website where all the applications are united under the parapet brand. Our approach was to give each of the sub-brands its own section and representing their features in stunning visual detail.
